Mediative Appoints New Director of Sales, Eastern Canada

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - Mediative, one of North America's largest integrated advertising and digital marketing companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Samuel Parent as Director of Sales, Eastern Canada. Samuel has over 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing with agencies and media companies.

During his time working for major Canadian media companies MBS, Draft and Cossette, he was tasked with handling the media planning for both national and local accounts.

In 2000, Samuel founded Summum Web Media, an online-print ad network focused on entertainment properties across Quebec. Samuel has also taught Interactive Advertising at l'Université de Montréal and continues to teach at universities and provide training courses for IAB Canada. In 2004, he launched his own consultancy, Titan Interactif, which he still operates today. Samuel has also been General Manager, Internet for Corus Quebec, where he managed sales, content and web development for the group's online properties. He has been the Quebec Regional Director of IAB Canada since 2001 and a member of the national board since 2003.

Samuel has a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal, with a major in Marketing.
