Medical Implants Highlighted in This Week's Focus onHealth TV Show

GREAT NECK, NY--(Marketwired - November 25, 2015) - Medicine has changed a great deal over the years and now incorporates devices that can be implanted in people's bodies to help them with various ailments, from abnormal heart rhythms to severe back pain.

This week's Focus onHealth TV, to air at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday on WLNY-TV, will focus on the impact various medical implants have had on three North Shore-LIJ Health System patients and the care delivered by their physicians: Mark Eisenberg, MD, chief of neurosurgery at LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park; Ram Jadonath, MD, director of electrophysiology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset; and Ian Storper, MD, otolarynologist at Lenox Hill Hospital's New York Head & Neck Institute.
