Medieval Times to Ride in the 2015 Tournament of Roses Parade

Famed Equestrian Team Selected for 27th Consecutive Year

BUENA PARK, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2014) - The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Equestrian Committee recently announced that Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament's famous PRE (Pura Raza Española) equestrian team will ride in the 126th Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. This is the 27th year in a row that Medieval Times, North America's No. 1 dinner attraction, has been selected. This year's parade, "Inspiring Stories!" will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2015.

The New Year's holiday proves to be a busy time for the Medieval Times. In addition to the Rose Parade appearance, the Buena Park castle stages five shows in a 24-hour period. Despite this schedule, knights "battle" for the honor of riding in the Rose Parade.

"What better way to personally interact with our fans and reach a worldwide audience at the same time?" said Medieval Times General Manager Pedro Goite. "We look forward to returning this year and we already have a few surprises planned for those watching us in person or on television."

Each year, hundreds of thousands of spectators line the streets of Pasadena, California, to watch America's New Year Celebration. Millions more watch the Rose Parade on television worldwide in more than 100 international territories and countries.

"We'd like to congratulate and welcome Medieval Times' return to the Tournament of Roses family," said Ellen W. Swagerty, director and equestrian committee chair for the Tournament of Roses. "We know that Medieval Times' contribution will be a highlight for the fans."

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament's California Castle is located at 7662 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park, CA. In 2014, Medieval Times received its fourth Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.
