Medieval Times to Ride in the 2016 Rose Parade(R)

Famed Equestrian Team Selected for 28th Consecutive Year

BUENA PARK, CA--(Marketwired - September 17, 2015) - The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Equestrian Committee announced that Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament's famous Pure Spanish Horses and Knights of the Realm will ride in the 127th Rose Parade presented by Honda in Pasadena, California. This is the 28th consecutive year that Medieval Times, North America's No. 1 dinner attraction, has been selected. This year's parade, "Find Your Adventure," will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016.

The New Year's holiday proves to be a busy time for Medieval Times. In addition to the Rose Parade appearance, the Buena Park castle stages five shows in a 24-hour period. Despite this schedule, knights "battle" for the honor of riding in the Rose Parade.

"What better way to personally interact with our fans and reach a worldwide audience at the same time?" asked Medieval Times General Manager Pedro Goite. "We look forward to returning this year."

Tournament officials were equally excited.

"Medieval Times' sense of adventure is what stands out to the Tournament of Roses year after year. The elaborately decorated horses and riders continue to be a crowd-pleaser for the millions of fans watching the Rose Parade," said Ellen W. Swagerty, director and equestrian committee chair for the Tournament of Roses.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament's California Castle is located at 7662 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park, CA. In 2015, Medieval Times received its fourth Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.
