Medline Industries, Inc. Names Barbara Kallay Senior Vice President, Human Resources
MUNDELEIN, IL--(Marketwire - June 1, 2010) - Medline Industries, Inc., the nation's largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies, announced today that it has appointed Barbara Kallay as its new Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Kallay has more than 18 years of human resources experience and will be responsible for developing and leading human resource strategy including development and diversity, recruitment and selection, performance management and total rewards within Medline's business groups.

Kallay joins Medline from PepsiAmericas, Inc., where she held a variety of HR leadership positions with responsibility for recruitment, compensation and benefit strategy, as well as other HR activities within PepsiAmericas various business units both locally and globally. Prior to PepsiAmericas, she worked in various Human Resources roles at Eaton Corporation and Royal Appliance Manufacturing Company.
Kallay graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management. She will officially join Medline's team on June 1, 2010.
