VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - Sep 24, 2013) -  A world-renowned panel of industry superstars will share their knowledge at Merging Media 2013: Global Edition, Canada's Premiere Cross-Media Event. Topping the roster is Kathy Franklin of James Cameron and Jon Landau's Lightstorm Entertainment. She oversees the global brand strategy for the Avatar franchise and its two sequels in development, across all categories and platforms.

Presented by Merging Media Productions Inc. and The Canada Media Production Association's - BC Producers' Branch (CMPA-BC), Merging Media is aimed at media professionals from across the industry spectrum. The event showcases the best and brightest cross-media innovation, promoting interaction and highlighting the latest transmedia trends, business intelligence and creative strategies that are shaping the industry worldwide.

For its 4th annual conference, Merging Media has placed a special emphasis on building global partnerships and collaborations.
