Meg Walsh Joins Augme Technologies as President of Augme's Mobile Health Group

Seasoned Digital Marketing Veteran to Extend Presence in Healthcare Vertical

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 10, 2011) - Augme Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: AUGT), a technology and services leader in interactive media marketing that offers the only patented and innovative end-to-end mobile marketing platform, today announced that Meg Columbia-Walsh has joined Augme Technologies, Inc., (the "Company") as President of the Company's Augme Mobile Health group ("AMH"). AMH is focused on delivering mobile marketing campaigns and mobilizing digital assets for many of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies.

Meg Columbia-Walsh, is recognized internationally as an authority in digital marketing, sales, marketing communications and pharmaceutical business processes and has served in various senior executive capacities for the past 15 years. Meg was the President of Havas Drive, a EuroRSCG technology company. Previously, she was a Managing Partner at CommonHealth and President of the consumer group. Also, Meg was Managing Director at Faith Popcorn's BrainReserve, a leading trend based, future focused strategic marketing consultancy. Additionally, Meg led the Life Sciences and Clinical Consulting practices nationally for Oracle Corporation. Prior thereto, Ms. Columbia-Walsh was a Partner/VP for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, leading the Health High Growth division for the Life Sciences practice, which helped clients to navigate the strategic integration of technology into their businesses.

Ms. Columbia-Walsh was the founder and CEO of three companies including: HealthTech Digital Communications, the first online advertising agency and web development firm in healthcare, which was bought by Interpublic Group; CBSHealthwatch, a division of Medscape which was one-third owned by CBS Corp., and was bought by WebMD; and Oncology.com, widely recognized as the most comprehensive and credible company for providing quality information and resources for all those touched by cancer and was bought by Pharmacia and Upjohn. Meg began her career as a sales representative and manager at Johnson & Johnson. Meg is also on the Board of Directors of numerous profit and non-profit companies.
