MEMC Electronic Materials' CEO Ahmad Chatila to Speak at 9th Annual Clean-Tech Investor Summit

PALM SPRINGS, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 30, 2013) - The 9th Annual Clean-Tech Investor Summit, presented by International Business Forum and chaired by Technology Partners' Ira Ehrenpreis, on February 6-7 in Palm Springs, California, announced today that Ahmad Chatila, President and CEO of MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE: WFR), will be a guest speaker for a Keynote Conversation at this year's Clean-Tech Investor Summit. He is part of the line up of the clean-tech and energy industries' thought leaders, visionaries, and innovators who will be speaking at and attending the 9th Annual Clean-Tech Investor Summit.

Prior to joining MEMC, Mr. Chatila served as Executive Vice President of the Memory and Imaging Division, and head of global manufacturing for Cypress Semiconductor. In these roles, he was responsible for strategy, financial performance and revenue growth for the Memory and Imaging Division, as well as global manufacturing for all divisions of Cypress. Previously Mr. Chatila served as managing director of Cypress' Low Power Memory Business Unit. Prior to these roles at Cypress, he served in sales at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC). Mr. Chatila holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and has completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University.
