Mercator Transport Group Corporation Announces Completion of Private Placement

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - April 24, 2007) - Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Group") (TSX VENTURE:GMT) is pleased to announce that as of April 23rd, 2007, it has completed its previously announced private placement of $514,800.00 in return of the issuance of 2,860,000 common shares of Mercator Group's authorized capital, for a unit price of $0.18.

The sole subscriber is Crystal-Vintage Growth Corporation ("Crystal-Vintage"), a Capital Pool Company. This private placement constitutes the Qualifying Transaction of Crystal-Vintage in accordance with Policy 2.4 of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Accordingly, Crystal-Vintage received 2,860,000 common shares of Mercator Group's authorized capital, which will be distributed among Crystal-Vintage's shareholders.
