Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City Launches Facebook Contest: Enter for a Chance to Win a Free Hot Air Balloon Ride in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwire - Jun 30, 2011) - Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City launched a Facebook contest to promote its sponsorship for the second annual Midwest Balloon Fest July 8 - 10, 2011 at The Great Mall of the Great Plains. To enter for a chance to win one free hot-air balloon ride, go to Two winners will be selected to ride with a guest.

Robert Hellweg said Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City decided to incorporate social media marketing as part of their sponsorship to promote the event. The Midwest Balloon Fest is expected to attract approximately 75,000 spectators and will benefit a number of organizations including the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program, Olathe Hospice House, Olathe Christmas Tree Fund and Harvesters.
