Mercent Appoints Backcountry.com Veteran to Executive Bench; Lee Corkran Joins as Vice President, Products & Market Strategy

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Jun 28, 2011) - Mercent, a leading provider of performance marketing solutions for retailers, today announced it has appointed Lee Corkran as its Vice President of Products and Market Strategy.

He heads a team of expert technologists focused on Mercent product innovation for the benefit Mercent's Tier 1 retail client base.

Lee is a seasoned and entrepreneurial retail and technology executive. Prior to joining Mercent, he served as the Director of Product Management and User Experience Design at online retailer Backcountry.com. There he was responsible for delivering commerce solutions to increase the performance of all nine Backcountry.com brands. Prior, Lee held senior executive positions in both early stage and enterprise corporations including Yahoo!, Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Digital Railroad, Pixology and PictureIQ. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Syracuse University.
