Merchant Energy Holdings Rebrands as Midstream Energy Holdings

Company to Have Broader Focus on Midstream Opportunities


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Aug 21, 2013) - Merchant Energy Holdings, LLC announced today that they have changed the company name to Midstream Energy Holdings, LLC (MEH). The company is a privately-owned natural gas storage developer and operator and parent company of East Cheyenne Gas Storage, LLC and Tallulah Gas Storage, LLC. MEH is a portfolio company of Quantum Energy Partners and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Andy Lang, CEO of Midstream, stated, "The name change was made to better reflect the company's broader focus on the midstream energy market for natural gas and liquids storage and pipelines. While remaining committed to our investments in gas storage, we will pursue additional midstream opportunities that leverage our skills and access to capital."
