Mereco 3500 Series Fiber Optic Adhesives are two-component epoxies that feature 86 Shore D hardness to provide a superior polishing surface for terminating single- and multi-mode fiber optic connectors and fiber optic bundle potting, encapsulating glass fibers in ferrules, and bonding to a variety of substrates including most metals, glass, plastic, and ceramic.
Developed for a wide range of fiber optic applications, Mereco 3500 Series Fiber Optic Adhesives include six formulations with varying viscosity, working life, cure time, and curing time with color change. Suitable for connector fabrication, splicing, and repair, these adhesives provide better fiber-to-fiber attenuation because of their hardness, claims the firm.
