Meridex Software Corporation Unveils MicroView 4.0 to Provide Improved Mobile Facilities Management

Latest addition to growing software suite provides increased productivity and efficiencies

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 24, 2007) - Meridex Software Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MSC), a leading provider of mobile facilities management software and information technology services, today announced the launch of MicroView 4.0, the latest generation of MicroView™ solutions in the company's product line. The new MicroView 4.0 delivers a broad range of functionality and increased mobility across work orders, asset management, space management, parts inventory management and condition assessment.

MicroView 4.0 provides customers with improved overall performance - up to ten times faster depending on the platform of the device. It also offers increased capabilities with its new Assets Move feature, which can quickly track the location of assets, including packages, allowing remote scheduling for asset delivery and pickup.

The new MicroView upgrade offers a standalone Automated Work Processor (AWP) engine that can run within and outside of ARCHIBUS™, enabling real-time automated processing of work orders. It also provides support for a wider range of bar code devices, as well as a new dialog-based interface for defining inspection and survey forms, allowing all ARCHIBUS users to create custom forms and inspections to meet their specific business needs.

The new Meridex MicroView 4.0 mobile software enables customers to record and update their ARCHIBUS facilities date in real-time, helping eliminate manual facilities data collection. Currently, more than 900 customers use MicroView including NASA, Princeton University, Northwestern Mutual Life, Tiffany & Co, UCLA Medical Center, and General Motors. According to Gartner, the ARCHIBUS network supports more than three million users in 130 countries and over 16,000 client sites, all of which could maximize their use of ARCHIBUS through Meridex solutions.

"With MicroView 4.0, we are excited to deliver a solution that addresses our customers' growing needs for mobility in their facilities management operations," said Matt Dion, President and CEO, Meridex Software Corporation. "The upcoming MicroView 4.0 product development shows our commitment to investing in products that are created to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers to ensure their organizations maximize productivity and ROI."

MicroView 4.0 will be available in the fourth quarter of 2007 through Meridex and its reseller partner channel. Customer with current maintenance will receive a complimentary upgrade.
