In April, Mesosphere led a broad alliance of more than 60 partner companies to unveil the open source DC/OS project, the first open and comprehensive platform for building, running and scaling modern enterprise applications, including containers and big data services. DC/OS specializes in helping users adopt and manage critical new technologies such as Docker containers, real time big data systems and cloud computing infrastructure.

"As more and more of the Global 2000 embrace DC/OS as the platform for modernizing their datacenter and cloud practices, Mesosphere is committed to expanding our leadership team with the skills and experience that help our customers succeed," said Florian Leibert, CEO and co-founder of Mesosphere. "Our new executive leaders bring invaluable operational experience and proven track records of innovation that will allow us to continue in our mission to build the next great datacenter and cloud software company."
