Message Systems Launches Messaging Masters Infographic Series

Leader in Digital Messaging Publishes Series of Graphics-Rich Guides on Topics Including DKIM, Push Notifications for Mobile Apps and More

COLUMBIA, MD--(Marketwired - Dec 11, 2013) - Message Systems, the global leader in digital messaging software, today unveiled the Messaging Masters series of infographics. Providing fun, digestible overviews of technology trends and technical subjects confronting digital marketers today, the Messaging Masters infographics enable readers to quickly get up to speed on timely issues. The entire series is available on the Message Systems website.

Most recently released is When Push Comes to Mobile, a colorful guide to the newest messaging channel to become available to marketers: push notifications for mobile apps. Mobile apps help to attract new customers, increase engagement and drive conversions, but these benefits manifest only if the user keeps coming back to engage with the app. The infographic shows how apps that leverage push notifications drive enormous increases in social sharing and daily open rates, and can drive far higher engagement and response rates than email.

In How to Explain DKIM to Your Grandmother, the Message Systems team delivers a quick overview of the Domain Keys Identified Mail authentication system that is used by many of the world's largest enterprises and service providers to protect their critical email streams. The infographic shows the basic framework for SMTP email processes on the Internet, the elements involved in public key encryption and an explanation of how DKIM fits into the emerging DMARC protocol for email security.

As a B2B vendor of enterprise software (and not a consumer company) explaining how consumers and end-users interact with Message Systems technology can be a challenge. Message Systems: A Day In The Life solves that problem, taking the reader through a typical day and many engagement points where Message Systems software comes into play. For instance, email originating from many of the world's largest social networks travels through the Message Systems Momentum platform, and A Day In The Life colorfully shows the reader how that happens when they engage with these Message Systems customers.

"Infographics are so effective because they can take complex abstract ideas and turn them into understandable, fun graphics and understandable charts," said Steve Dille, senior vice president of marketing at Message Systems. "Our design and content marketing team has done a fantastic job with the Messaging Masters series. Many thanks to Lynn Murphy, Angela Cheong, John Pinson and Barbara Burlington for their contributions."
