Metal Fatigue Solutions Launches Custom Solutions Division; Provides MFS' NDT Consulting Expertise to a Broader Range of Clients

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Sep 24, 2015) - Metal Fatigue Solutions (MFS), producer of the next generation of advanced Nondestructive Testing (NDT) technology systems for major civil and industrial infrastructure, today announced it has reorganized its consulting services under a new, "Custom Solutions" Division being launched today.

Today's launch of the new, MFS Custom Solutions Division is the culmination of six years of successful consulting to industrial and engineering clients. It creates a specific group, and culture, tasked with closely collaborating with clients to provide:

  • High value-added analysis of NDT objectives and engineering problems to be solved
  • Development of cost effective NDT solutions to meet client budgets and goals
  • Specialized NDT R&D for engineering, industrial and manufacturing firms
  • Tailored, sophisticated solutions for civil and industrial infrastructure asset owners.

The dedicated MFS team of consulting experts are recognized as the premier minds in the fields of Nondestructive Testing (NDT), Fatigue, Fracture Mechanics, and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). The MFS Custom Solutions team includes the past president of ASNT, and an ASNT Level III and CWI on staff to analyze MFS' solutions for field readiness. The MFS team's researchers and professionals have served prestigious institutions including:

  • UCLA
  • Stanford University
  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
  • The U.S. Air Force
  • Federal Highway Administration
  • Oak Ridge National Laboratories

By combining top researchers from leading universities with seasoned industry professionals and hands-on inspectors, MFS Custom Solutions delivers highly accurate and engineered solutions that are practical for real world application.

Commenting on the formation of the new MFS Custom Solutions Division, Sade Panahi, MFS Chief Executive Officer, said, "For years, MFS has always strived to provide highly customized solutions for its engineering and asset-owner clients. With increasing awareness of the favorable cost/benefit from our next generation of NDT technology, and growing demand domestically and in Europe, we determined we can best serve our clients -- and broaden our range of consulting services -- by organizing a new Division focused entirely on custom solutions."

"NDT is in our DNA, and that of each and every MFS NDT scientist, researcher and engineer on our staff," Mr. Panahi added. "Unlike the competition in this space, MFS is all about Non Destructive Testing, and the most creative and advanced technologies. We are the go-to firm for NDT custom solutions."

About Metal Fatigue Solutions Inc.
Metal Fatigue Solutions (MFS) develops, manufactures and markets next-generation non-destructive testing (NDT) devices and systems that indicate the true status of fatigue damage in a metal component. The Company's customers include the State DOTs, Infrastructure Owners, the U.S. Federal Government, and private engineering firms (http://metal-fatigue-solutions.com)

Initially commercialized in 2005, MFS' flagship product is the industry leading Electrochemical Fatigue Sensor (EFS™), an instrument that detects microscopic growing fatigue cracks in metals. With seven patents, MFS owns the only NDT technology able to find growing cracks as minute as 0.01 inches - critical information that enables structural engineers to isolate and repair the more than 100,000 US steel bridges classified as structurally deficient or functionally obsolete by the Federal Highway Administration. EFS is also applicable to aerospace, ships, cranes, railways, power plants, nuclear facilities, chemical plants, mining equipment, piping systems and "heavy iron."
