Metals Creek Resources Corp. Completes Diamond Drill Program on the Tillex Copper Project

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - Metals Creek Resources Corp. (the "Corporation"), (TSX VENTURE:MEK) is pleased to announce the completion of a 3 hole, 588 meter diamond drill program on its 85 per cent owned Tillex Copper Project, located in Currie Township, 65 km east of Timmins, Ontario. This drill program was focused on the historic Tillex Copper Deposit, which was originally discovered in 1973 by Westmin Resources Ltd. At the time, 17 drill holes were completed and the claims were taken to lease. A near-surface non 43-101 compliant resource of 1,338,000 tonnes grading 1.56% Cu was calculated in 1990 for the deposit (Pacifica Resources Ltd., 2006-7 Canadian Mines Handbook, page 336) however this calculation does not meet the standards as outlined in National Instrument 43-101, "Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects", has not been independently validated or verified by the Corporation, and should not be relied upon.

Since acquiring the Tillex property in 2008, the Corporation has drilled a total of 15 drill holes and this current drill program was designed to increase drill density on sections of limited drilling. The copper mineralization consists of chalcopyrite and minor bornite within a mixed sequence of andesite, graphitic argillite, dacitic tuff and feldspar porphyry. Of particular note is that the Tillex mineralization is near surface with the majority of the mineralization within 150 meters of surface.

Highlights of Metals Creek Drilling from its previous drilling in 2008/2009 include:

TX08-002 97.05m (30.95m to 128m) of 1.194% Cu, including 37.05m (30.95 to 68m) of 2.583% Cu

TX08-003 22.87m (50.63m to 73.50m) of 1.05 % Cu, including 8.3m (54.00m to 62.30m) of 2.36% Cu.

TX08-004 81.13m (42.00m to 123.13m) of 1.83% Cu, including 27.00m (53.00 to 80.00m) of 2.73% Cu.

Results from the current drilling will be released as assays are received and compiled.
