MetaPower International, Inc. Receives $1,612,866 in Purchase Orders for Process Safety Work With a Major Oil Sands Energy Company

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2011) - MetaPower International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MTPR) is pleased to announce that the Company's subsidiary, MetaPower Canada, Ltd, has received additional purchase orders of $1,612,866 CAD to develop Process Safety Information (PSI) Packages and revise maintenance procedures for a Canadian Energy Company's facility in the Oil Sands Region of Northern Alberta, Canada. This work will be conducted between September 2011 and December 2012.

MetaPower Canada, Ltd received the purchase orders to extend its Process Safety Information Project to include additional Oil Sands plants. The PSI Project has been underway since the fall of 2007 and is expected to continue through the fall of 2013.

"These Purchase Orders extend our Process Safety Information project to another of our client's facilities. In these projects we are inspecting the piping and equipment to record its current configuration and then reviewing the technical documents to ensure they reflect these conditions. Knowing this information is very important to ensure that the facility can be operated in a safe manner.
