Metaswitch Brings First Cloud Native IMS Solution to Market With Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Virtualization Leaders Offer Carriers an Accelerated Path to Deploy Innovative Business and Consumer Communication Services With a Pre-Integrated IMS Solution on HPE's Helion OpenStack Platform

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - October 10, 2016) - Cloud native communications software leader Metaswitch today announced the integration of its virtualized IP Multimedia Subsystem (vIMS) solution with Hewlett Packard Enterprise's (HPE) Helion OpenStack Carrier Grade and NFV Director orchestration platform. The combined solution accelerates fixed and mobile network operators' deployments of advanced services including VoLTE on private, public or hybrid cloud infrastructures. With this integration, Metaswitch becomes the first Independent Software Vendor (ISV) to complete all levels of validation in the HPE OpenNFV Partner Program.

Perimeta is a virtualized SBC that distributes signaling and media functionality across commodity hardware in the cloud.
