Metranome Launches White Label Solution for Mobile Video Applications

DadLabs and 60Frames Join as Premiere Partners

WATERLOO, ONTARIO and AUSTIN, TEXAS and LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2009) - Metranome, a leading provider of mobile video applications, today announced the availability of Poptiq Powered, a turnkey solution that enables content owners to launch mobile applications built exclusively around their brand. DadLabs, an innovative parenting-focused new-media company, and 60Frames, a leading online entertainment distributor, have signed on as Metranome's premiere Poptiq Powered partners. The DadLabs and 60Frames video applications for the iPhone and iPod touch are available today through the Apple App Store.

Poptiq Powered gives content producers a potent new way to reach mobile viewers through fully branded, richly featured mobile applications. Poptiq Powered applications offer a superior user experience compared to mobile websites or streaming applications and deliver unprecedented levels of brand awareness and promotion via social networking and sharing features that encourage the viral spreading of content.

DadLabs is the online video network for dads (and the moms that tolerate/love them), producing four shows a week on parenting issues, activities, and gear. Always irreverent, sometimes hilarious and even informative and insightful on occasion, DadLabs provides a unique entertainment resource and community for all parents.

60Frames is a leading financier and distributor of original, professional quality online entertainment. In 2008 they released over 40 original series in partnership with top Hollywood artists, major online distributors and national brand advertisers. 60Frames currently has more than a dozen projects in development and production, including upcoming series for and Crackle.

"Mobile applications offer content creators a new distribution channel for their work and provide additional ways of monetizing their content," said David Kruis, CEO of Metranome. "We are excited to be helping talented producers and distributors like DadLabs and 60Frames reach and engage their audiences on mobile devices worldwide."

"By working with Metranome to create our Poptiq Powered mobile video application, we are able to reach our audience when they are away from their computer or TV as well as introduce our content to an entirely new set of dads," said Clay Nichols, Chief Creative Director of DadLabs.

"Metronome has created a fantastic mobile application that has allowed 60Frames to seamlessly move its entertainment to new mobile devices, including the venerable iPhone and iPod touch," said 60Frames CEO Brent Weinstein. "The application allows us to broaden our audience and reach them when they are at home, in the office or on the go."
