MetraTech Named Finalist in Two Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2010) -  MetraTech Corp., the innovative charging, billing, settlement and customer care product provider, today announced that it has been selected as a finalist in the Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards 2010 in the categories of Best Customer Experience Improvement and B/OSS Innovator of the Year. The awards recognize excellence in a service provider's business from vendor-enabled or internal initiatives. This year, the awards were revamped to recognize benefits over technology type and welcomed submissions from across the BSS/OSS spectrum.

For these award entries, MetraTech showcased MeetingZone's new collaboration portal, which is powered by MetraTech's unique dynamic billing, charging, settlement and customer care solution, MetraNet. The MeetingZone portal sets the highest industry standards for ease-of-use and self-service functionality, helping to drive the widespread adoption of integrated conferencing and collaboration solutions.
