MetraTech to Integrate MetraNet Billing With Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

BARCELONA, SPAIN--(Marketwire - February 14, 2011) - Mobile World Congress -- MetraTech Corp., the innovative charging, billing, settlement and customer care software provider, today announced an integration initiative with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. The integration will enhance MetraNet's highly configurable billing solution with an online and on-premise connection to the advanced, push-button business solution capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 delivers new levels of productivity to sales, service and marketing organizations by providing their professionals with a familiar user experience, industry-leading collaboration, streamlined processes and access to real-time data. Through the integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, MetraTech's customers will reduce the risk and effort involved in synchronizing MetraNet's best-in-class billing with ready-to-publish solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for order capture, billing provisioning and relationship management.

"We are delighted with MetraTech's decision to deepen its alliance with Microsoft by integrating Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 into its flagship billing solution," said Jim Dietrich, Industry Managing Director, Communications Sector at Microsoft Corp. "Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a world-class product that offers our ISV partners an opportunity to extend and grow their portfolios. By enhancing their existing offerings in this way, we see our ISV partners increasing their competitive advantage, entering new markets and delivering more holistic solutions that meet the needs of our joint customers."

Service providers in the Communications, Financial Services, Cloud and Smart Grid sectors have become increasingly aware of the need to deliver a well-orchestrated customer experience across all touch points -- from the first marketing outreach, through successful sign-on, to a clear and understandable bill. As a result, service providers are extending their use of CRM -- beyond "point customer relationship management" -- to a more advanced level of business modeling and automation across their entire business, utilizing the push-button capabilities and workflow support of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application development framework.

MetraTech's MetraNet offers market-leading configurability to ensure an accurate and flexible revenue management experience for service providers addressing continual change and innovation in their markets. Through the integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, MetraTech billing and customer care capabilities become another coordinated piece of the overall customer management ecosystem for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM customer. The program includes the integration of the new MetraView Active Customer Self-Care capabilities, MetraNet's web-based self-care environment for partner and customer billing and settlement. MetraView extends the entire customer care and self-care experience to be flexibly tailored across multiple brands, languages and customer or partner types.

In addition, as a result of the integration, MetraTech can offer to MetraNet customers the extended customer management capabilities of the integrated solution including order capture and decomposition, provisioning interfaces and product catalog coordination -- all configurable to the business model and best practices of the customer -- thereby eliminating the need for custom integrations with legacy Customer and Order Catalog applications.

The MetraNet Integration Solution for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 will be available in Q4 of 2011.

"The integration of MetraNet and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a winning combination for service providers seeking a dynamic customer management platform that is fully integrated and configurable to their own business model and industry best practices," said Doug Zone, MetraTech CTO. "MetraTech has a long history of delivering successful customer billing solutions developed on Microsoft technologies, and we look forward to extending that success with the integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
