Metro Technology's Visual Alert Solution Selected by the Ephrata Police Department, Lancaster County

WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - Jan 16, 2013) - Metro Technology Services, Inc., leading provider of public safety software solutions serving agencies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, today announced that the Ephrata Police Department (Lancaster County, Pa.) has selected its Visual Alert® records management software solution to efficiently and effectively prepare reports, manage records and control the flow of departmental information.

The Ephrata Police Department serves both the municipalities of Ephrata Borough and Ephrata Township. Serving nearly 24,000 residents and a daily population of more than 30,000, there are 50 full and part-time employees that serve as police officers (30 sworn officers), community service officers, civilian support staff, and school crossing guards to keep Ephrata's 19.58 square miles and 110 miles of roadway safe for its residents and visitors.
