Metron Aviation Traffic Flow Management Solution Achieves Site Acceptance With Airservices Australia

DULLES, VA--(Marketwire - October 26, 2009) - Airservices Australia has completed site acceptance testing of Metron Aviation's Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) system which is currently being deployed at Airservices' National Operations Centre in Canberra.

As part of its long-term airspace capacity planning, Airservices Australia surveyed the industry for proven traffic flow management technologies to enhance the capacity, efficiency and safety of the Australian airspace. Airservices Australia selected Metron Aviation for its unmatched expertise in managing airspace constraints to help Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) increase efficiency while maintaining safety.
