Mezeo Software Announces Android™ Client Availability for MezeoCloud

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Sep 26, 2011) - Mezeo Software™, a leading provider of cloud storage management, announced that it is adding Android tablet and smartphone clients to its offerings. Mezeo will be demonstrating its new Android smartphone client at the Hosting and Cloud Transformation Summit - North America, at the Bellagio in Las Vegas this week. The Android client will be generally available in October.

Android device support allows Mezeo to expand smartphone and tablet options for accessing MezeoCloud. Mezeo leverages the OS, providing customers with access to their information from a convenient, familiar and intuitive interface. Customers can easily connect, access, and share files in the cloud, without storing a single file on the phone. Users simply access the local file directory from the easy-to-use menu, select files and save online.

"There is an increasing amount of business being done via smartphones and tablets. We're seeing organizations struggling with how to protect this data while keeping storage costs manageable," said Steve Lesem, President and CEO at Mezeo Software. "Smartphone and tablet clients combined with cloud storage enables users to access an entire library of files without worrying about device damage or loss. The rising popularity of Android devices made it the next logical addition to our client offering."
