MFG.com to Close China Sales Office

Move Allows Company to Realign Operations to Support Continued Growth of Largest Global Online Marketplace in the Manufacturing Industry

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - October 08, 2015) - MFG.com, the world’s largest online manufacturing marketplace, announced today the closing of its China sales office -- effective immediately. The decision is in line with MFG.com’s new strategic vision and supports the company’s plan to realign its operations.

MFG.com will continue to service existing APAC suppliers via its online marketplace, and sales and support functions will be transferred to the company’s U.S. operations. The decision will not impact MFG.com’s LiveSource business unit, which will continue to have local support and presence in the APAC region.

“This realignment of resources will enable us to sharply direct our focus and more effectively serve our growing base of manufacturing customers,” said Bo Hagler, CEO of MFG.com. “Our APAC customers are very important to us, and we will continue to service our existing suppliers, as well as support our LiveSource business operations in the APAC region.”
