WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Mar 5, 2014) - MGAC announced today that it has completed a merger with Basis LLC, a leading cost and risk consultancy headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Basis is comprised of former directors of Davis Langdon/AECOM and led by Nick Butcher. Prior to founding Basis, Nick was the former national leader of Davis Langdon's U.S. practice.
Basis will provide MGAC clients with a cost and risk management consultancy, to ensure that its clients' goals are met in terms of the cost, value and quality of their project developments.
While the merger was only recently completed, the two firms have enjoyed a longstanding relationship and have already successfully collaborated on projects totaling over $400m across the United States including major aviation, cultural, and corporate headquarters projects.
The merger will allow the two firms to further develop their consultancy practice and leadership in the industry, offering comprehensive integrated project cost, risk and delivery solutions. The combined talent, resources and professional diversity will better serve its national and international client base, expanding MGAC's presence in California and the Western United States.
