MHz Worldview Expands to Affiliates in Michigan and Utah -- Indicates Relevance of World Awareness in America

WASHINGTON, DC and FLINT-SAGINAW, MI and SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - February 21, 2008) - With its fresh, relevant presentation of international content, MHz Worldview continues to expand national reach with the addition of two more affiliates: WDCQ in Flint-Saginaw, MI and UEN-TV in Salt Lake City, UT.

The addition of WDCQ and UEN-TV to the existing affiliate line-up proves the mission of global understanding and world awareness is relevant and embraced throughout the nation, in both rural and urban America.

Known for its 'Programming for Globally-Minded People,' MHz Worldview serves as a liaison in bringing programs and insight from around the world to American audiences.

MHz Worldview is an independent, non-commercial TV channel presenting English-language content including news, documentaries, cultural programming, dramas, films, mysteries, music and sports from throughout the globe.

WDCQ, also known as Delta College Public Broadcasting, opened 2008 as a MHz Worldview affiliate, bringing international content to mid-Michigan's over 480,000 households.

With a mission intent on helping its community see itself through experiences in culture and diversity, WDCQ feels MHz Worldview programming is a good fit. In fall 2007 previews of the channel in Utah, 98% of participants noted they wanted more of what they saw and recommended UEN carry MHz Worldview programming.
