Mi-Co Receives Mobile Programme Forms Platform Contract From Transport for London

Elimination of Cumbersome Paper Processes, Ease of Form Development and Deployment, Ability to Run on a Variety of Devices and Off-Line Capability -- Key Requirements of the Procurement by Major Government Agency in London

DURHAM, NC--(Marketwired - May 14, 2014) - Mi-Corporation, the Mobile Information Corporation, today announced that it was awarded the contract to provide the Transport for London (TfL) with an enterprise forms platform with its Mi-Forms mobile forms software. The software will provide mobile forms for inspections, work order management, materials management and similar asset-management and related disciplines.

TfL was created in 2000 and is the integrated body responsible for London's transport system. Its main role is to implement the Mayor's Transport Strategy for London and manage transport services across London. Mi-Forms will provide a platform for the rapid development and deployment of mobile forms, workflow capability and system integration.

A "self-service" forms platform will deliver the ability for TfL business areas to create their own simple forms based applications and deliver these to mobile users. Workflows, data integration, and report generation are also included in this project.

Mi-Co's data collection solution was selected after a careful review of all RFPs submitted to TfL. During the process, criteria such as functional requirements, Total Cost of Ownership, and strategic business fit were evaluated and live demonstrations of the solution were given to key stakeholders.
