Miami Beach Boutique Hotel Celebrates One Year With Hersha Hospitality Trust

Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront Will Add a New Guest Tower in 2013

MIAMI BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - Dec 17, 2012) - A new year sometimes means a new look, and for the Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront, 2013 will bring big changes to this hotel on Miami Beach.

After celebrating a year of ownership by Hersha Hospitality Trust, this Miami Beach boutique hotel is set to expand in 2013 with a new 93-room oceanfront tower.

"The new oceanfront tower is not to be missed," Joseph LaFleur, the hotel's General Manager, says. "This addition will give our guests even more opportunities to wake up to scenic beach views while staying right in the heart of Collins Avenue."

The historic Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront was originally constructed as the art deco Cadillac Hotel, and was reopened in 2004 after a complete restoration.

"This past year has flown by," LaFleur says, "and with all of the plans we have on the horizon for 2013, I know our second anniversary with Hersha will spring up even faster."

This Miami Beach hotel with an oceanfront location might have art deco roots, but its amenities and services are based on the needs of today's traveler. Connect with complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access in the lobby, poolside and in the comfort of your room. Stick to your workout routine in the fitness center or at the outdoor heated pool. Gear up for a night out with cocktails and appetizers at the Oceanfront Surfside Tiki Bar, or celebrate a special occasion with a festive meal at Carrabba's Italian Grill. If you want to host an intimate board meeting or a small celebration, this hotel's 500 sq. ft. of meeting space includes the Indian Creek Board Room with a seating capacity of 16.
