Miami Online Dating Industry Conference on January 19-21, 2011 Will Cover Online Consumer Purchasing Decisions

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 3, 2011) - Ticonderoga Ventures, Inc. announces the 8th Annual Internet Dating Conference ( ) will discuss various methodologies of online dating consumer purchasing.

iDate2011 will be January 19-21, 2011 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. For online personals and matchmaking industry executives, iDate Miami is the single largest and most significant event of the year. Delegates include owners and senior executives from the online dating business, matchmaking, dating software, mobile applications, marketing companies and others.

Over the last 7 years, iDate has provided the dating industry with education, ideas, insight and networking to identify new technologies and increase revenue opportunities.

For 2011, a better understanding of consumer purchasing decisions will be covered by several speakers.

The keynote session is led by Dr. Raj Raghunathan, Professor at the University of Texas at Austin: McCombs School of Business. Dr. Raghunathan conducts research in affect and decision making, hedonic and utilitarian consumption with a focus on consumer behavior. Using psychology, behavioral sciences, decision theory and marketing, important interrelationships between affect and consumption behavior will be unveiled. These principles affect online dating purchasing subscriptions. 

The 4th Annual IDEA session will cover new business models for online dating. Max Polyakov (Easydate PLC), Michael McQuown (ThunderRoad) and Mitchell Davis (ExpertClick) will provide their insight on dating industry consumer driven behavior and how to improve revenues.

A session on the buying psychology and the potential long term fiscal effects of both the free and freemium online dating business models will be covered as well.
