MICC Fort Rucker Looking for Contractor to Provide Aviation Maintenance Services


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - September 07, 2016) - Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Rucker is looking for a contractor to provide rotary-wing aircraft training and maintenance. The contractor must be able to provide rotary maintenance on the Army's AH-64D/E Apache, Mi-17, UH-60A/L/M Black Hawk, OH-58C Kiowa, and CH-47D/F Chinook, as well as the Air Force's advanced flight training TH-1 H Huey.

The contractor who receives the award will be responsible for training in FAA-certified commercial aircraft from Bell Helicopter and the Airbus Helicopters Inc., and must be able to provide training at Fort Rucker, Cairns Army Airfield, Hanchey Army Heliport, Knox Army Heliport, Lowe Army Heliport, and Shell Army Heliport.

This hybrid Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is planned as a one-year base with nine one-year options, as well as include the provision for extended services up to an additional 6 months for a total potential of ten and a half years to a single awardee.

Interested contractors are encouraged to attend an Industry Day event on October 5, 2016 at Fort Rucker, and a final RFP for this procurement opportunity will be posted on fbo.gov on or about November 21, 2016.
