EDEN PRAIRIE, MN--(Marketwire - March 12, 2010) -  Compellent (NYSE: CML) announces its vice president of sales operations, Michael Beach, has been named a 2010 Channel Chief by the Everything Channel's CRN. CRN Channel Chiefs are recognized as influential executives who consistently develop, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies. 

For the second consecutive year, Compellent channel leaders are distinguished for outstanding channel operations. Since joining the Compellent team in 2003, Michael Beach has been instrumental in establishing and leading the Compellent Channel Partner Advisory Council (CPAC), through which Compellent gathers feedback on programs, product strategy, sales strategy and issues resolution in the field. In addition, Mr. Beach supports Compellent's global network of solutions providers by delivering training, business intelligence systems, tools and programs.
