Michael Class Appointed VP, Worldwide Sales at SEQUANS Communications

PARIS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 18, 2006 -- SEQUANS Communications, a fabless semiconductor company and leading supplier of WiMAX silicon and software, today announced the appointment of Michael Class to Sequans' executive team as VP, Worldwide Sales. In this position, Michael will be responsible for building Sequans' global sales effort, including technical services and sales engineering support.

Mr. Class has over 21 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, most recently with Exar where he led the sales team as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Prior to Exar, Mr. Class was a sales executive at IC Works, Inc. as Area Sales Manager for the Western U.S. and Canada; he has also held various sales management positions with Intel Corporation and VLSI from 1979 to 1995.

Mr. Class holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from LaSalle University.
