Michael Dunkley Joins Continuum Advanced Systems

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - May 22, 2012) - Continuum, a global innovation and design consultancy, today announced that Michael Dunkley has joined the company's Advanced Systems division as Vice President of Product Development. Dunkley will be responsible for driving Continuum Advanced Systems' new business development opportunities and will be located at the firm's West Newton headquarters.

"He has deep experience in and knowledge of the medical device sector and a proven track record in developing client relationships and business opportunities across broad areas of technology and human centered design."

Previously, Michael held a variety of upper-level management positions at the development consulting firm Cambridge Consultants, where he was responsible for high-level contract acquisition and technical operations. He was also the Vice President of Engineering and first employee at nutrition technology start-up Essentient, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in core technology development and in building out company teams and infrastructure. Dunkley's more than twenty years of working for multi-national consulting companies allows him to grasp engineering concepts and business opportunities on a global scale.

Dunkley has a Ph.D. in Engineering and BA Honors in Engineering from the United Kingdom's University of Cambridge. Dunkley completed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Melbourne's Department of Mechanical Engineering.
