Michael Hayworth Accepted Into Elite Think-Tank

Hayworth Companies' Principal Joins Darren Hardy's High-Performance Forum

HIGH POINT, NC--(Marketwire - Dec 8, 2011) - Hayworth Companies is proud to announce that its principal executive, Michael Hayworth, has been accepted by Darren Hardy, publisher and editorial director of SUCCESS Magazine, into his exclusive High-Performance Forum, a yearly gathering of 24 of the country's top achievers with businesses earning between $5 million and $250 million annually.

"I'm thrilled beyond words to be a part of the High-Performance Forum," said Hayworth. "To be chosen from a field of over 1,100 applicants is one of the highest compliments I've ever received and I'm truly grateful."

A serial entrepreneur, his Hayworth Companies consists of Fresh Brewed Films, Hayworth Entertainment Group, the Brinstar Company and Project Dreamport, an eccentric gift and experience company with a charitable component. He is a governing board member of the Interactive Television Alliance, sits on the board of directors of Project Hope Ghana, which designs and builds schools in Africa, and is a member of the Interactive Media Peer Group of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (the Emmys) and the National Association of Television Programming Executives (NATPE). He currently serves as a member of the prestigious, Los Angeles-based think tank, METal (Media Entertainment Technology Alpha Leaders).

Hayworth holds a bachelor's degree in film from Full Sail University, has more than 12 years of experience in the entertainment industry, and developed and served as associate producer on "55 Mercer Street," the first-ever live-action, scripted Web series.

After two decades as a business leader in the success industry and thousands of interviews with the world's greatest achievers, Darren Hardy believes there are a few significant advantages the uber-successful have over everyone else: counsel, connections and strategies. Hardy has designed the High-Performance Forum to deliver those advantages to its selected members. Membership is by invitation only.

The Hayworth Family has served as a dominant force in the furniture industry for the past century and is strongly committed to philanthropy. Michael Hayworth has carried this belief over into Project Dreamport, which donates 20 percent of its sales of themed experience packages to various charities. He also is currently developing a philanthropic experiment through Fresh Brewed Films called "social benefit storytelling."

He divides his career between High Point, N.C., and Hollywood, Calif., and likes to spend his free time with his family and golden retriever.
