MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 18, 2005) - Montreal Alouettes'
General Manager Jim Popp is thrilled to announce that veteran running

signed a one-year deal plus an option with the Alouettes.

"Michael Jenkins is a dominant running back who brings a new dimension

can also catch the ball. He will be an asset to our already potent
offence."

season, he attended the NFL Houston Texans's training camp in 2002. He

touchdowns. He did not play last season due to an ankle injury.
