Michael Kramer Tapped to Lead Global Sales at Amitive

23-Year Industry Expert to Drive Next Wave of Supply Chain Solutions Targeted to Brand-Focused Enterprises

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - October 21, 2008) - Amitive, Inc., the pioneer of Community Supply Chain Management (C-SCM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Michael Kramer as vice president of sales. In this position, Mr. Kramer will be responsible for defining and executing direct sales and distribution partnership strategy for Amitive Unity, a SaaS-based solution for brand-centric companies who outsource manufacturing.

Mr. Kramer has nearly 25 years in the industry, including domain expertise in both supply chain and manufacturing applications, as well as executive sales experience at a range of enterprise software companies, from SAP and Texas Instruments, to start-up companies Accruent and Yantra Corporation (acquired by AT&T/Sterling Commerce).

"We are already seeing an electric response to our recent product launch, clearly demonstrating that there is pent-up demand among brand leaders for a better way to drive their supply chain business processes," said Amar Singh, president and CEO, Amitive. "The addition of Mr. Kramer to our team comes at a most opportune time, as his proven leadership and sales skills will further accelerate our expansion path."

Prior to Amitive, Mr. Kramer served as vice president of sales at Accruent, Inc. where he grew corporate revenue from $17 million to more than $40 million, and played a critical role as the company rolled workplace management software leader Famis into its corporate fabric. Previously, he was director of sales at Yantra Corporation (purchased by AT&T/Sterling Commerce in 2005) where he was responsible for enterprise software sales for the company's supply chain order/inventory management application. Mr. Kramer also served as director of sales at SAP America, vice president of North American sales at Revere, Inc. (purchased by Walker Interactive) and director of sales for the automation business unit at Siemens/Texas Instruments. He pursued an M.S. in engineering, management information systems from San Jose State University, and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas, and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Purdue University.

"Amitive is helping companies handle the most challenging shift the supply chain world has dealt with to date, which is the move to a community-centric supply chain," said Mr. Kramer. "By making community supply chain management accessible to all users in a SaaS model, Amitive has introduced a cost-effective solution that frees virtual manufacturers from traditional supply chain constraints."
