Michael Waddell's Bone Collector: The Brotherhood Album Featuring Rhett Akins and Dallas Davidson -- Out September 28 on Reprise Records

Produced by Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Brian Kolb

NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwire - September 16, 2010) -  What do you get when Michael Waddell ("Bone Collector"), one of the industry's most successful outdoorsmen, joins forces with top country songwriters Rhett Akins (Joe Nichols' "Gimme That Girl," Blake Shelton's "All About Tonight") and Dallas Davidson (Trace Adkins' "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," Brad Paisley and Keith Urban's "Start a Band")? The answer -- the forthcoming Reprise Records hunting album entitled, Michael Waddell's Bone Collector: The Brotherhood Album featuring Rhett Akins and Dallas Davidson out on September 28. Produced by Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Brian Kolb, Michael Waddell's Bone Collector: The Brotherhood Album featuring Rhett Akins and Dallas Davidson is an off-the-cuff hunting album that every hunting enthusiast will want in their collection.

Michael Waddell's Bone Collector: The Brotherhood Album featuring Rhett Akins and Dallas Davidson evolved out of Waddell, Akins and Davidson's love for hunting and the outdoors. The three began performing cuts from the album at Waddell's "Brotherhood Jam," a fan club concert which follows a day of hunting. The album is a collection of hunting and outdoor related tunes with some of the songs layered with comedic, dry humor lyrics. From the playfully titled song, "Weapons of Bass Destruction" to the stripped down ballad of "Granddaddy's Gun," this well-polished album is the perfect combination of catchy melodies and country twang.

Michael Waddell is the host of "Realtree Road Trips" and co-host of the popular Outdoors Channel hunting show, "Bone Collector." The success of "Bone Collector" has been due in part to Michael's reputation as one of the most successful hunters and outdoorsmen in the industry. Rhett Akins is an American country singer and songwriter. His first album, A Thousand Memories, released in 1995 on Decca Records spawned his first No. 1 single, a song he co-wrote entitled "That Ain't My Truck." Recently, Akins has had multiple cuts and singles by country artists including: Brooks & Dunn, Rodney Atkins, Luke Bryan, Montgomery Gentry, Blake Shelton and many more. He currently has five singles on the charts: "Farmer's Daughter" recorded by Rodney Atkins, "Chicken & Biscuits" by Colt Ford, "Gimme That Girl" by Joe Nichols, "All About Tonight" by Blake Shelton and "All Over Me" by Josh Turner. Dallas Davidson is an award-winning American country music songwriter. His credits include five No. 1 hits for "Rain is a Good Thing" recorded by Luke Bryan, "That's How Country Boys Roll" by Billy Currington, "Gimmie That Girl" by Joe Nichols, "All About Tonight" by Blake Shelton and "Start A Band," by Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. He also has two No. 2 hits with Trace Adkins' "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and Brooks & Dunn's "Put A Girl In It."
