Michael Williams Promoted to Senior Vice President and Group Manager for Camber Corporation's Aerospace Defense Group

HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwire - November 29, 2010) - Michael Williams has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Group Manager for Camber Corporation's Aerospace Defense Group.

Camber's Aerospace Defense Group, which includes more than 300 employees, provides a wide range of services and solutions to their customers, capitalizing on its Engineering, Program Management, Acquisition & Test Support, Logistics, and Modeling, Simulation and Training (MS&T) strengths. The Group is organized along three service lines with the Aviation Acquisition Support Division focused on Army Aviation; the Air, Space and Missile Support Division providing operation and acquisition support to the USAF, PEO Missiles & Space, SMDC, Missile Defense Agency, and U.S. Northern Command; and the Modeling, Simulation and Training Division providing engineering based products and services to multiple customers.

Having joined Camber in April 2009, Williams most recently served as Vice President for Strategic Planning, supporting initiatives key to the ongoing growth and development of the corporation including mergers and acquisitions, integration of acquired companies and business development.

Prior to Camber, Mr. Williams' 29-year career includes serving as a consultant to top federal contractors, providing business planning, operations and strategy development support and in a variety of executive and senior management roles including COO and EVP for Business Development at Qinetiq North America's Apogen Technologies; capture and execution of large IT programs at Lockheed Martin; and development of the Financial Systems professional services organization for government and commercial markets at TRW/BDM.
