Michelin-Star Chef Brings Culinary Innovation to Blue Diamond Resorts in Cuba

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - October 28, 2015) - Blue Diamond Resorts welcomes Jesus del Cerro to oversee exclusive culinary experience for guests in its extensive portfolio of all-inclusive resorts in Cuba. Chef del Cerro brings superb technical skills and exceptional experience to these award-winning resorts to elevate the quality of dining options. NeXo, a new international restaurant opening at Memories Miramar Habana on October 27, 2015, will showcase this talent.

This is a bold move for a resort group in Cuba. Beginning this fall, guests of Memories Resorts, Starfish Resorts and Royalton Luxury Resorts in Cuba will have the unique opportunity to savour cuisine from these new menus.

From Aranjuez, Spain, Chef del Cerro is the recipient of numerous culinary awards, which include the prestigious Michelin Star. To be the recipient of a star is seen as one of the highest honours in the culinary and restaurant industry. Chef del Cerro is also the winner of two Sol Repsol awards, also a high honour for the Spanish Chef in the culinary arts.
