OKEMOS, MI--(Marketwire - February 29, 2008) - Domemagazine.com, the online magazine covering
Michigan politics and policy, was named best new niche magazine launched in
2007 in the national competition sponsored by California-based Niche Media.
Domemagazine.com also was named best niche digital magazine / best website
of the year. The awards were announced and presented at the annual Niche
Magazine Conference in Austin, Texas.
"The awards demonstrate that the magazine is on the right track in
providing smart, colorful coverage of the people, issues and events shaping
Michigan politics and policy," said T. Scott, editor and publisher. Scott
Publishing LLC launched the free-content, advertising-supported magazine in
October 2007.
"We're just getting started," he added. "We want to continue to develop the
magazine into an online 'community center' for everyone involved or
interested in Michigan's diverse politics and policy community."
Scott attributed the magazine's early success to the solid support of
