MicroLink Wins Microsoft Federal 2008 Repeatable Solutions Excellence Award

This Recognition Is MicroLink's Third Straight Year as a Microsoft Federal Award Winner

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - September 9, 2008) - MicroLink, LLC, Microsoft's Federal Partner of the Year (2007), DoD Partner of the Year (2006, 2007) and Autonomy's Global Partner of the Year (2007), announced the company has won the 2008 Microsoft Federal Repeatable Solutions Award. This is the third straight year that MicroLink has won an award from Microsoft and out of the thousands of Microsoft Federal partners. MicroLink is one of only six companies to win an award this year.

"What sets us apart from our competition is our long standing history of applying the similarities of our clients' challenges to solve, create, and deliver application platforms that are adaptable for any environment. This award reflects our ability to provide high value solutions that benefit our customers and software partners," said David Truitt, president of MicroLink. "As one of a handful of partners that is the recipient of a 2008 Partner of the Year Award from Microsoft Federal and our further recognition as a Microsoft Partner of the Year for each of the last three years, I am very proud that MicroLink received this special acknowledgment."

At the 2009 Microsoft Federal Partner Kick-off meeting, Microsoft highlighted three successful MicroLink projects. Each of these efforts was built on a Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and each effort has demonstrated the scalability and flexibility of SharePoint. The following projects were highlighted:

1. HARMONIEWeb, an online collaborative solution that allows Department of Defense (DoD) internal and external organizations to collaborate disaster relief efforts throughout the world.

2. KnIFE, an intelligence fusion portal and call center powered by SharePoint Services where warfighters are able to access, collaborate, and share information and business intelligence in real-time.

3. Battle Command Core System (BCCS), a unit level collaboration solution deployed in theater.

To date, the company has identified five key areas that are the framework of its go-to-market solution strategy. These areas include emergency and critical event management, e-decision simplification, information fusion and discovery, compliance and e-discovery and process measurement and management. These solution development areas are based on MicroLink's past successful delivery of solutions that cross industry, verticals, and customer size.
