Microlog Corporation Hires Jim Shackelford as Vice President of Sales

GAITHERSBURG, MD--(Marketwire - Jun 14, 2012) - Microlog Corporation (PINKSHEETS: MLOG), a Maryland-based technology leader in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Call Center solutions for the Government, Healthcare and Lotteries, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Jim Shackelford to the position of Vice President of Sales.

Shackelford brings to Microlog over 25 years of experience in building local, direct sales forces as well as applying his skills to build and manage national and international direct sales forces and channels of distribution. He has experience in the Federal (DOD and Civilian), State and Local/Public Safety government markets and the commercial healthcare, legal, insurance and financial markets.

Prior to joining Microlog, Shackelford worked as Sales Manager for F4W, Director of Channels & BD for Envision Telephony, VP of Sales & Marketing for Vianix and Director of Strategic Accounts with Noble Systems, where his leadership style and strong alliances helped to build company recognition in the service bureau market. In addition, he was the VP of Sales at SER Solutions, Inc. where he was responsible for worldwide sales in their Telecommunication Division. Shackelford also has previous tenure with Interactive Intelligence, AVT and Firepond.

Shackelford holds a BS Degree in Marketing from James Madison University and resides in Warrenton, VA.
