Micronas USA Partners With Syabas Technology to Bring to Market a Feature-Rich DMA Platform for Consumer Electronics Manufacturers

Combined Solution Based on Micronas DeCypher DHM8100A and Industry-Leading Syabas Middleware Bridges Internet Media Sources and the Living-Room TV

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 10, 2007 -- At the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Micronas USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Micronas Semiconductor Holding AG (Zurich, Switzerland, SWX Swiss Exchange: MASN), a leading supplier of innovative application-specific IC system solutions for consumer electronics, announces an alliance with Syabas Technology Inc., a market leader in Digital Media Adapter (DMA) Middleware. The first result of the collaboration is a stand-alone DMA reference design which incorporates the Micronas DeCypher DHM8100A High-Definition Multi-format Decoder and Syabas Middleware to provide High-Definition media playback from a variety of networked sources. A demo will be shown in the Micronas booth #35344 located in South Hall Four of the Las Vegas Convention Hall, at CES, Las Vegas from January 8-11, 2007.
