MicroSeismic, Inc. Names Randy Evans Vice President of Operations


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2012) - MicroSeismic, Inc. (MicroSeismic) announced today that Randy Evans has been appointed Vice President of Operations. In this role, he will be responsible for the oversight of global field acquisition operations and the Health, Safety and Environment program.

Mr. Evans has more than 32 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career with Dresser Atlas as a Field Engineer and has held roles in operations, marketing, sales and general management. Prior to joining MicroSeismic he was Business Development Manager for Baker Hughes' African operations.

Mr. Evans has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He holds 10 patents in the completions technology field and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Society of Exploration Geophysicists and Society of Professional Well Log Analysts.
