MicroSeismic Names Ganesh Murdeshwar as Vice President of Calgary Office


CALGARY, AB and HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Dec 18, 2012) - MicroSeismic, Inc. announced today that Ganesh Murdeshwar has been appointed Vice President for Canada. In this role, he will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales, analysis, and operations teams located in the Calgary market, and growing MSI's presence and market share in the Canadian microseismic market.

Ganesh has more than 20 years of experience. The majority of his career was spent with IHS after they acquired his startup company, AccuMap. His career has spanned roles in operations, software technology, business development, product development and financial management. Prior to joining MicroSeismic, he was President and Chief Operating Officer for Tagle Information Technology, Inc.

Ganesh holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, a Master of Science in Computing Science from Dalhousie University and a Masters in Business Administration from Athabasca University.
