Former Corporate VP for US Enterprise and Partner Group to Help Accelerate Growing Capturx Business in Automating Enterprise Paperwork With Microsoft Office and SharePoint

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - October 12, 2010) -  Adapx, the company that is changing the way mobile teams collect data and collaborate, today announced that Chris Weber, former Corporate Vice President for the U.S. Enterprise and Partner Group (EPG) at Microsoft, has joined the Adapx Board of Directors. Capturx software from Adapx enables enterprises to automate any paperwork by digitizing data as it is written using digital pens and integrating the data into market-leading applications such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, PDF, and ArcGIS.

Weber, a 15-year veteran of Microsoft, most recently led US enterprise sales and marketing for Microsoft, serving 1,500 enterprise customers and strategic partners with a team of nearly 1,700 employees in sales, marketing, partner, operations and industry-focused teams.

"Adapx is revolutionizing business process by instantly sending data written on paper into a range of back-end applications. "I couldn't be more excited to be joining a company that delivers truly outstanding innovation and value to their customers."

Weber rose to lead the US EPG at Microsoft after successive leadership positions including vice president of Microsoft's National Sales and Industry organization and vice president of Microsoft's West Region EPG. Earlier in his Microsoft career, Weber served as general manager of the US Business Marketing Organization, leading marketing for Microsoft's $4 billion Server & Tools Division.
