Microsoft Taps Independent Interactive Agency Media Two for Global Office 2008 for Mac Campaign

Businesses Turn to Specialized Digital Shops for Nimbleness and Creative Innovation for Online Advertising Campaigns

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - June 10, 2008) - Recent business practices point to a trend of large corporations selecting digital shops to lead online advertising efforts rather than larger traditional agencies. In keeping with that trend and based on its extensive online expertise and nimble infrastructure, advertising agency Media Two Interactive was chosen by Microsoft to develop display creative for the release of Office 2008 for Mac. The display campaign launched in mid-December 2007, to advertise a mid-January rollout of the product.

With this campaign, Microsoft was looking to create a globally recognizable ad platform, with campaign creative geared toward international recognition. The campaign was also developed to be compelling particularly to Mac users; a diverse, creative message for a diverse, creative audience.

In 2005, Media Two began working with Microsoft's Messenger division through a partner agency. Media Two conducted a small media buy on behalf of the company, which became one of the most successful campaigns they've run in terms of high conversion rates and low CPCs. Based on the success of that initial engagement, Media Two was engaged by seven additional divisions of Microsoft. Last year, Media Two began working with the Mac Business Unit, and has executed four promotions prior, many centered around special events/seasonal releases through the year.

Microsoft turned to Raleigh, NC-based Media Two because, based on their previous relationship, they knew Media Two had the ability to quickly turn around a top-quality creative design project due to its nimble infrastructure, dedicated and experienced creative/strategy team.
